The exceptional artistry of the married American-French duo-pianists ARIANNA GOLDINA and REMY LOUMBROZO has brought them consistent and enthusiastic praise from audiences and critics alike, as well as international recognition as one of today’s leading duo-piano teams.

Goldina & Loumbrozo have been heard as both recital and orchestral soloists at music centers and music festivals throughout the United States, Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, the Baltic States, Russia and Scandinavia. American orchestral appearances have included the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, The New World Symphony, Orange County’s Pacific Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony of the Americas.

Goldina & Loumbrozo captured public attention by winning First Prize of two major international duo-piano competitions: the 7th Valentino Bucchi Competition of 20th Century Music (Rome) and, in 1989, the second Dranoff International Two Piano Competition (Miami). Subsequently, their debut recording of an all-Liszt program was released on the Pianissime label, followed by an all-French album on the Phoenix label. In 1998, their collaboration with the Academy Award/Pulitzer Prize-winning composer John Corigliano and Pulitzer Prize winner Ned Rorem resulted in a highly acclaimed CD, featuring three world premiere recordings. The duo’s latest release, also on Phoenix, is an all-Copland album that includes the world-premiere recording of the composer’s unpublished, one-piano/four-hands version of Music for the Theater.

Born far apart in Latvia and France, Arianna Goldina and Remy Loumbrozo met at The Juilliard School in New York City, from which they both hold Master of Music degrees. Ms. Goldina received her Ph.D. in piano performance from New York University, and, in 1997, Mr. Loumbrozo was named Chevalier in the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture. Highly dedicated teachers and mentors, Ms. Goldina serves on the faculty of Moravian College, while Mr. Loumbrozo serves on the faculty of the Lycée Français de New York.

"A bubbly performance where the warm ebb and flow of their partnership became evident"
LOS ANGELES TIMES

"Breathtaking passion and virtuosity; one could hardly find more colors, more brilliance."
HELSINGIN SANOMAT (Helsinki)

"PIANO PAIR MAKES MARK - Duo is masterful in rich repertoire [headline]
Goldina and Loumbrozo, who are married, make a seamless team. They agree on matters of articulation and tonal weight, phrasing and rhythmic definition. The music on Sunday’s program traveled a vast landscape of styles to which the players adapted themselves with unruffled expertise."
THE PLAIN DEALER (Cleveland)

"A brilliant ensemble; without exaggerated effects, the pianists came very close to the Schubert ideal of simplicity and lyricism."
GENERAL-ANZEIGER (Bonn)

"To the great credit of this husband and wife team, the big band was never missed in these scintillating, dramatic performances. Goldina and Loumbrozo achieve a rhythmic elasticity that would be remarkable for a soloist, and is truly stunning for a four-hand performance. That fluidity makes for an especially sensuous La Valse. Aficionados of French piano music and great four-hand piano playing should enjoy this excellent recording, which is presented in lovely, realistic sound."
FANFARE

"Idiomatic brilliance. They played with an unforced, deeply lyrical sense of musicianship."
THE MIAMI HERALD

"This duo distinguishes itself by the cohesion and the clarity of its playing."
LA MONDE DE LA MUSIQUE

"One of today’s most remarkable piano duos"
SUD-OUEST (France)

"DUO DELIVER ELECTRIFYING PERFORMANCE [headline]
A husband-and-wife team, they brought back memories of Vronsky & Babin. Like that dynamic duo, Goldina & Loumbrozo generated excitement the moment they stepped onstage. Their personalities radiated energy. Their playing sizzled."
THE PLAIN DEALER (Cleveland)
